This program is designed for students intending to major in Psychology and transfer to a four-year institution, and for students interested in studying Psychology for a general understanding of the human mind and behavior useful in any career and in everyday life. A major in psychology provides a scientific study of the mind and behavior of individuals and groups in contemporary society. The major also provides a background for upper-division and graduate study in the field of psychology and related specialties.
