The more practical skills offered by the study of English -- effective reading, writing and thinking -- are applicable to all education careers and civic responsibilities. The Associate in Arts in English for Transfer (AA-T in English) is intended for students who plan to transfer and complete a bachelor's degree in English, English Literature, or Creative Writing major at a CSU campus.

Students completing this degree (AA-T) are guaranteed admission to the CSU system but not necessarily to a particular campus or major of choice.
