RACE ETHNICITY IN AMERICAN HISTORY
Examines the ways in which race and ethnicity have been institutionalized into American government and society. Surveys the experiences of diverse communities in the United States, focusing on the obstacles and accomplishments in achieving equal rights and citizenship for all. Satisfies US-1 (historical development of American institutions and ideals) requirement of CSU Title V. Field trips may be required. (Formerly HIST M14.) Applies to Associate degree.
