Prerequisites: None Recommended Prep: CJ M01 or CJ M01H Class Hours: 3 lecture Introduces students to the principles of the primary areas of American Civil Law, providing an overview of Civil Tort Law, Contracts, Real Property, Corporations, Community Property, Family Law, Wills, Trusts and Estate Law. Explores and exposes students to the general principles of United States Civil Law with emphasis upon current issues relating and impacting both the criminal and civil systems of justice. Provides a strong foundation in statutory and case law with a focus upon practical application. Applies to Associate Degree. Transfer credit: CSU
