Prepares students for healthcare careers with a focus on understanding and communicating medical information. Teaches the language of medicine, focusing on medical terminology. Assists the student in learning medical terms related to anatomy, physiology, diseases, diagnoses, pharmacology, therapeutics and common abbreviations. Transfer credit: CSU.
