INTRODUCTION TO ARCHAEOLOGY
Prerequisites: None Class Hours: 3 lecture C-ID: ANTH 150 Introduces the history, goals and methods of archaeology. Explores the excitement and romance of archaeology through examples of archaeological finds from throughout the world, including Egypt, Stonehenge, and the Maya. Illustrates the concepts and techniques common to the process of archaeology via hands-on, in-class activities that replicate real archaeological explorations and excavations.
