MUS M04H

Surveys world music traditions, examining style, performance practice, and cultural context. Provides students an appreciation of the range and diversity of musical expression in a variety of world cultures, Western and Non-Western. Honors work challenges students to be more analytical and creative through expanded assignments, real-world applications and enrichment opportunities. Course Credit Limitations: Students cannot complete both MUS M04 & MUS M04H courses because credit will only be awarded to the first course completed with a grade of "C" or better or "P".
