HONORS: HISTORY OF AMERICAN WOMEN
Surveys United States history from the pre-colonial era to the present, with emphasis on the history of American women. Examines the changing roles and contributions of American women in the context of the social, political and economic history of the United States. Honors work challenges students to be more analytical and creative through expanded assignments, real-world applications, and enrichment opportunities. Satisfies US-1 (historical development of American institutions and ideals) requirement of CSU Title V. Course Credit Limitations: Students cannot complete both HIST M137 and HIST M137H courses because credit will only be awarded to the first course completed.
