DANC M01H

Prerequisites: ENGL M02 with a grade of B or better, or completion of the online assessment process. Class Hours: 3 lecture Examines dance through lecture and viewing dance performances both live and on video. Presents the developments of dance within each ofthe major genres and analyzes the factors which have influenced change in dance historically, culturally, and as an art form. Honors work challenges students to be more analytical and creative through expanded assignments, real-world applications and enrichment opportunities.Applies to Associate Degree. Transfer credit: CSU; UC. Course Credit Limitations: Students cannot complete both DANC M01 and DANC M01H, credit will only be awarded to the first course completed
