HISTORY OF MEXICAN AMERICANS IN THE UNITED STATES

Surveys the American experience from colonial beginnings to the present, emphasizing the history of Mexican Americans. Examines the changing roles and contributions of Mexican Americans in the context of the social, political, and economic history of the United States. Satisfies US-1 (historical development of American institutions and ideals) requirement of CSU Title V. (Formerly HIST M04.) Applies to Associate degree. Transfer credit: CSU; UC.
