GENERAL PHYSICS I

Introduces the basics of statics, mechanics, and wave motion. Includes kinematics, dynamics, work and energy, momentum, fluids, waves, simple harmonic motion and thermodynamics. Prerequisites: MATH M05 and M06 or MATH M07. Transfer credit: CSU; UC. Notes: This course is designed for students who need an algebra/trigonometry-based physics course. CAN: PHYS 2 (PHYS 10A + 10AL).
