ETHICS, CULTURE AND THE ARTS: HUMANITIES AND THE MODERN WORLD
Introduces human cultural heritage from 1000 CE to the present, emphasizing major ideas of several periods of Western civilization from the Renaissance to the Modern world. Examines literature, philosophy, music, painting and sculpture of each era. Highlights ethical choices and aesthetic responses possible within each period. Transfer credit: CSU; UC. Field trips may be required.
