ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
Provides students with an understanding of the natural processes that operate in the world, including the mechanisms in biology, chemistry, physics, and the earth sciences that control these processes. Emphasizes the interrelationship between humans and the natural world, including the impact of human activity on the health of the global environment. Surveys subjects such as energy, air and water quality, soil pollution, and conservation. Presents sustainable development and practices. Field trips may be required. Transfer credit: CSU; UC.
