ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE LAB
Explores environmental processes associated with society, including weather and climate, soil health, decomposition and cellular respiration, photosynthesis and the water cycle, population growth, energy density, energy transformations, water quality and ocean acidification. Emphasizes scientific methodology and statistical sampling, which students use to test hypotheses during each weekly project. Prerequisites: ENSC M01 or concurrent enrollment. Field trips may be required. Transfer credit: CSU; UC.
