EGYPTOLOGY: ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE LAND OF THE PHAROHS
Prerequisites: None Class Hours: 3 lecture Surveys the splendor of ancient Egypt with an emphasis on the contributions of archaeology. Cultivates an understanding of the historical and cultural development of Egypt by studying pyramid construction, pharaohs, religious beliefs, warfare, technology, the Nile, and famous explorers and looters.
