ENGT M02
DIGITAL CIRCUITS
Studies the construction and application of logic circuits as they relate to modern electronic computers and digital systems by applying Boolean algebra, mathematics, and number systems. Analyzes basic gate and digital circuits and their integration (MSI - medium scale integration and LSI - large scale integration) into complete systems. Describes and incorporates circuit simplifications, mapping, digital counters, registers, encoders/decoders, converters and timing. Recommended Prep: Knowledge of Elementary Algebra the equivalent of MATH M01 is recommended. Field trips may be required. Transfer Credit: CSU.
