CONDITIONING FOR DANCE: PILATES I
Prerequisites: None Recommended Prep: DANC M18 Class Hours: 1 lecture, 3 lab Introduces the fundamental somatic work of Joseph H. Pilates to improve posture and alignment using apparatus, mat, and supplemental techniques. Focuses on improving strength, and flexibility alignment using the Pilates principles of: Control, Centering, Coordination, Precision, Flow and Dynamics as they apply to human movement and performance.
